If you'd like to permanently delete your Forever Fireflies account and all associated data, you can do so from within the app or by contacting us below.
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the app:
Your account and all data will be deleted immediately.
If you've already uninstalled the app or can't access it, you can request account deletion by email.
Important: For your security, you must send the request from the same email address you used to create your Forever Fireflies account. This is how we verify you're the account owner. Requests sent from a different email address will not be processed.
We'll process verified requests within 48 hours and send a confirmation when your account has been deleted.
Request Account DeletionDeleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. If you have an active subscription, you'll need to cancel it separately:
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove your personal data — your entries, recordings, children's information, account, and login credentials.
In the rare case a temporary storage error interrupts file cleanup during deletion, an automatic daily process removes the remaining files.
We also use analytics and crash-reporting tools (PostHog and Sentry) to keep the app running. When you delete your account, we delete your analytics profile — including your first name — from PostHog. Crash logs in Sentry are linked only to an anonymous account ID (never your name or email) and age out automatically under Sentry's standard retention period.
